Social Work and Non-Violent Resistance

IFSW Secretary-General, Rory Truell talks with Palestinian social worker Munther Amira who this week was released from an Israeli military prison for non-violently protesting to protect children’s rights. Mr Amira describes the importance of the social work approach to non-violent protest and resistance, and how advocating for all people’s human rights is the essence of the social work profession.
