Announcement: New Members of the IFSW Asia-Pacific UN Commission
Following our call for expressions of interest, we are pleased to announce that the IFSW Asia-Pacific UN Commission has welcomed three new members. Under the leadership of Sebastian Cordoba (Australia), the team now consists of seven members, bringing together a wealth of experience and diverse perspectives.
In addition to our continuing members—Sebastian Cordoba (Australia), Wilaiporn (Kae) Kotbungkair (Thailand), Hamed Olamaee (Iran), and Suresh Pathare (India)—we are excited to introduce the following new colleagues (listed in alphabetical order):
- Massoud Ayoubi (Afghanistan)
- Talaat Hamoud (Yemen)
- Young Joon Hong (South Korea)
The inclusion of these three distinguished professionals will further enrich our work and enhance our contributions to social work advocacy within the United Nations and other international platforms. Their expertise and diverse backgrounds will help us strengthen our collective efforts in advancing social work on the global stage.
