On behalf of IFW Europe, I extend our heartfelt appreciation for the remarkable contributions of John Brennan, whose mandat as the Vice President of IFSW Europe has recently concluded.
John’s visionary leadership, tireless efforts, and unwavering commitment to IFSW Europe have left an indelible mark on all of us. His ability to navigate challenges, foster collaboration, and drive positive change has been truly inspiring to me and many social workers in Europe. Under John’s guidance, we have witnessed significant achievements and milestones that have shaped the success and growth of our organization.
As John steps down from his role, we want him to know that his contributions will be remembered and celebrated. John’s legacy of leadership will continue to guide and inspire us in the years to come. I am grateful for the positive impact John has had on IFSW Europe and for the positive changes he has brought about.
The IFSW European Executive will meet with John in Birmingham in January 2024 to conclude the mandate and facilitate the transfer of tasks.
We look forward to the ongoing collaboration and shared achievements that lie ahead in his position as the Representative of IFSW Europe to the European Social Platform. We eagerly anticipate meeting him in Portugal during the Delegates Meeting of IFSW Europe 2024.
