IFSW is delighted to announce a virtual event in support of the 68th Session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women. The event, titled “Transformative Gender-responsive Social Protections in an Eco-social World” is designed to spotlight the session’s priority themes: Accelerating the achievement of gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls by addressing poverty, strengthening institutions, and financing with a gender perspective.
Scheduled for 14 March 2024, from 12:30 to 2pm EST (4:30 to 6pm UTC), this event aims to explore how transformative gender-responsive social protections can play a pivotal role in creating an eco-social world that uplifts all women and girls.
The session is free and open to all, offering an inclusive space for participants to engage with thought leaders, advocates, and peers on advancing gender equality and empowerment. Join the IFSW and be part of a transformative discussion that aims to shape a more equitable and sustainable future for all women and girls.
