
In acknowledgement of this year’s global social work theme Ubuntu, the Journal of International Social Work is providing free access to an article on ‘ubuntu and its potential impact on the international social work profession’. The article presents an in-depth description of Ubuntu and how it can strengthen social work theory and practice. It describes how social workers have successfully integrated Ubuntu philosophy in developing community systems of social protection, child protection and social justice.
